Say hello to our January “Resident in the Spotlight”, Dottie Ellis! Dottie was born in Kewanee, IL and grew up on a farm with her 6 siblings. She was married twice and had 2 children and adopted one more. She worked as an insurance agent alongside her husband and did the bookkeeping and typing. Throughout her life she enjoyed her children, movies, helping at the school and was an active member in her church. She has always been very social and active. She walks every day to get in her exercise. She loves dogs and spending time with her children. Dottie is a proud survivor of Breast Cancer and COVID-19.
Her words to the young adults: “Get the Lord in your lives and put him first. Let him lead you where to go and he will take care of you”
